B.C. Rich
As a huge fan of Motley Crue, I was in awe when I saw their guitar player (Mick Mars) with a white B.C. Rich Warlock guitar. What a guitar!!! Great design and the dude just looked mean playing it. I had to have it. I wanted to be "mean", too. I played the hell out of my Hondo. That was the deal. Play the Hondo for a while, and my father would buy me a "real" guitar. One day, while minding my own business, "Dad" said lets go to Brent's Music in Fort Myers. I had been there thousands of times before. I'd just stare and gawk at the guitars hanging on the wall. At the time I wasn't into Gibsons or Fenders. I liked the more obscure guitars: the B.C. Rich's, the Jackson's, the Charvel's.... Anyway, we walked in and my father asked me "Which one?". Ugh...... "The red one". It was a killer, nasty, beast, a red B.C. Rich Warlock. He said "Throw in a case" and it went in the car. I don't think I came out of my room for two months after that. What a guitar!!! It was so shiny and nice. I had a real guitar. I had a B.C. Rich!!!
